The short answer
SBS-NC, LLC services Raleigh, North Carolina and the Triangle — Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park, and the surrounding Wake County towns — with self-performed commercial HVAC work. Since 1992 we have provided preventative maintenance programs, repair and diagnostics (contact us for service call pricing), and chiller, boiler, and cooling tower service for Raleigh offices, retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, labs, manufacturing plants, and medical buildings. Our headquarters in High Point is about 90 minutes west on I-40, so Triangle customers get the same company, the same technicians, and the same reporting as our Triad accounts — plus the option of one contract covering Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, and Charlotte. Every job is self-performed by our own uniformed technicians — never subcontracted. Commercial properties only. Call (336) 234-4979.
Covers the technician visit, testing the equipment, and a written plan with pricing before any repair begins. Repairs are quoted separately and only start once you approve them. Raleigh service calls are priced the same way as our Triad work — no broker markup, and no surprise travel line on the invoice.
Raleigh service from a North Carolina company, not a national call center.
Plenty of contractors will quote Raleigh and then hand the ticket to whoever they can find. SBS-NC services the Triangle with our own employees — trained to one standard, reporting through our High Point office — so you get a North Carolina company that can also standardize maintenance across every other market you operate in.
W-2 employees with stocked trucks and our reporting standard — not a subcontractor working from a broker purchase order.
Raleigh, the Triad, and Charlotte under one standard, one invoice format, one reporting stream.
Front-of-line emergency dispatch when a Raleigh site goes down outside business hours.
Labs, campuses, and a lot of new roofs.
The Triangle mixes brand-new rooftop fleets in Cary and Brier Creek with RTP lab buildings that cannot lose conditioning and downtown central plants that have been running since the eighties. We service all of it.
The Triangle has the youngest building stock in our footprint. Cary, Brier Creek, Holly Springs, and Apex added square footage all through the 2010s, so much of the rooftop equipment is still inside its first compressor life, the window where documented maintenance protects the warranty and decides whether a unit makes it to year fifteen. The older inventory sits downtown, at North Hills, and in the Durham mill conversions, where central plants and retrofitted splits need a different checklist.
RTP and the lab corridor along I-40 bring requirements most markets do not: pressurization, humidity bands, filtration grades, and round-the-clock runtime on equipment that cannot cycle off for a visit. Those sites get scheduled around operations, with findings reported per unit so facilities teams can show compliance, not just comfort.
Retail & restaurant chains
Crabtree, North Hills, Brier Creek, Cary, and Garner. Multi-location fleets where every store needs the same PM scope and the same paperwork.
RTP labs & tech offices
Research Triangle Park, Morrisville, and Durham lab and office space where airflow, humidity, and uptime are part of the lease — and PM visits are scheduled around tenant operations.
Downtown & North Hills offices
Central plants with chilled water loops, pumps, and sequencing that drifted — plus mid-rise office with mixed-age rooftop equipment.
Distribution & industrial
Garner, Clayton, and the US-70 and I-40 east corridors. Big roofs, make-up air, and warehouse heaters that have to work in January.
Property management portfolios
Multi-tenant buildings across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties where asset history and budget defensibility matter as much as comfort calls.
Medical & professional
Clinics and professional offices where humidity and airflow are part of the service, and where PM visits get scheduled around patient hours.
